– Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 3:35 p.m. The Dana Point Grand Prix of Cycling (DPGP) is the largest prestigious one-day professional bicycle race in America, hosted by the scenic coastal city of Dana Point, California. The DPGP is a family-oriented celebration that promotes a healthy lifestyle and offers a unique professional sports experience while raising money for outstanding charities. We want to honor all of those who have suffered from cancer. We ask that all cancer survivors join us in a celebration of life with cancer survivors in the Breakaway Walk on Sunday, May 6th at 3:35 p.m. There will be something for everyone! Food, drinks and lots of fun for the whole family! The first 150 to register for the free walk will receive a BfC hat and bracelet! We invite doctors, cancer survivors, family members, and caregivers to join the Breakaway Walk on Sunday, May 6th and meet at 3:00 p.m. at the Cancer Survivor Tent in a Celebration of Life. We will walk at 3:35 p.m. in solidarity on the best bicycle race course in America in front of cheering fans and cross the finish line with smiles, hugs, hope and gratitude. This is a unique moment you won’t forget. Bring your camera!
